Nutrional panel

For some products (e.g. sugar), you will be asked to record the amount of a nutrient in the food. Do this using the nutrient panel.

For other components, data may be shown in different formats on pack. For example, some products may list sodium content, while others will show salt. Use the fields in the form to indicate which format you have entered.

Tip: it is important that you indicate the weight of the product to which nutrient information refers. Usually nutritional information will be presented per 100g of product, but it may be presented per portion.

The NPPM is a Nutrient and Promotion Profile Model by WHO and University of Leeds, designed to assess the appropriateness of commercial baby foods.
