Serving size

Snack should only be a small part of a baby's diet.

Snack products should not exceed a maximum serving size of 50kcal per serving. Check the label for the recommended serving size. This may be found in the nutritional panel. If serving size is not provided, take one serving to be one small pack or one unit (e.g. one biscuit or bar), depending on the unit size and pack format.

The NPPM is a Nutrient and Promotion Profile Model by WHO and University of Leeds, designed to assess the appropriateness of commercial baby foods.
